How often to post?

What do you think if the best amount of posts to make in a day/in a week to make sure you can still attract followers but you also have the highest engagement possible?

I've been posting 3 or 4 times a day. I want to see what it will be like to post less often but I'm afraid of losing the interest of my followers

You can test yoursels which hour is the best to post, is different for everyone
 
I've been posting 3 - 5 images for a while with a 3 hour delay between the each image.
 
I usually do 2 posts a day. Each post will have a time gap of 8-12 hours. I vary these settings every now and then
 
I'd imagine posting more would give you more exposure. I currently post between 3 and five times a day but am considering posting 6-8
 
common sense criteria

I think 2 posts per day (3 is ok as well) are perfect

and at those times they will be up during the most active hours of the day and each will have 6 of the best hours of the day
 
^Why so few? I'm posting 3-5 and getting fantastic results
 
Everyone has said it already, but I will second that 3 to 5 posts is the safest.
 
3-5 post a day for a new startup again, once you've grown to about 20k. You can do 2-3 a days thats a good ratio.
 
I get the most traffic between 5pm to 12am. So I post 1 time in the morning and the rest are posted during that time frame.

maybe just your own "common" sense, most people are busy at 8:30 am, they just got to school / work or driving to it.

the most active times on twitter are: 11 am - 1 pm 5-6 pm and 12 pm - according to some studies online.
