How often should you update content for optimal SEO results?

Just like Skyrocket said, if your site has authority and it is ranking already... There is no harm leaving it as is. I have a site ranking on the 2nd position for a 49k search per month and it has not been updated for almost 1 and 6 months!

It was only recently that I was told that some of the images on the homepage has broken.
So, updating your site frequently those not matter.

Daily 1 content in Starting. 3-4 Per week after 4 months.

The short answer is that it all depends on your niche.

For example, if you are in the news niche or any kind of niche that requires rapidly updated information, then you should update your content rapidly.

On the other hand, if your niche is like most other niches, your update should be more moderate.

In fact, depending on how evergreen your particular niche is, you can get away with an update every other year.

Seriously, there are evergreen niches where you basically publish and promote.

The vast majority of time should basically be involved in promoting your content instead of creating you content.
