How Often Should You Post Without Looking Spammy?

I know each subreddit has different rules but I am confused about what is considered a normal posting schedule.

Some people say to post regularly while others suggest focusing more on comments than posts.

Here i would like to ask from experienced marketers:
  • How often do you create new posts?
  • Do you comment more than you post?
  • Does posting too frequently affect account trust or visibility?
I would like to hear some real experiences and I really appreciate that.

I usually focus more on meaningful comments and post only when I have something valuable to add. It depends on the community rules. Consistency and quality matter more than posting too frequently.
 
Commenting consistently tends to work better than pushing alot of posts , especially when you are still building trust.A balanced mix of helpful comments + occasional quality psts has worked bset in my experience.
 
I do not follow any fixed schedule. I only post when I have something useful to share. Most of the time I comment more than post because it feels natural and helps me to stay active in the community.
 
There's no fixed schedule, honestly. I comment a lot more than I post because that's how you build trust naturally. As for posting, I would rather share one good post than spam a bunch of average ones. Quality and consistency have worked better for me than posting all the time.

Totally agree. If you want to be seen as an authority you should comment a lot in relevant threads.
 
For reddit I don't have fixed schedule for commenting or posting. I just try to stay active naturally, with more comments than posts. I think spreading out your activity works much better than posting a lot in a short time.
 
I comment far more than I post, and only create a new post when I have something genuinely useful to share.
 
How often do you create new posts? - If the account is active and aged, up to 5 posts per week. New account - only one or once every 15 days.

Do you comment more than you post? - Obviously, the more you engage with other subreddits, the more it increases the trust score.

Does posting too frequently affect account trust or visibility? No, but some people are not always nice. You know it's Reddit; so many salty people there. People downvote and report your account when you are taking their side. So try to be neutral always :)
 
Most people comment more than they post. 10-20 posts a day is usually fine, but too many similar posts can hurt visibility or look spammy.
 
I usually maintain a consistent routine by posting and commenting every day. I keep it to no more than two posts and three to four comments per day, and I always focus on making meaningful, positive contributions rather than promoting myself.
