Hey, I have a backlog of articles and am just wondering how often I should be posting them.

Relatively new site.

Post at least 2/day

2/Day? Does it matter how long each post is? Like could I post 500 word fluff articles that I don't care if they rank and then every few days throw in a 2000 word article that I do want to rank?

How long should I be 2/day for? Just always?

Always quality over quantity

Imo post 1 good post a day but do it continuously for a year dont slack off and you will gradually see great results its not about going fast and burning out in a month its about slow and steady you get to live and you set a low goal to finish each day so you dont burn out your website will grow naturally too

Oh wow seems a lot more than I anticipated.

May have to get better at writing my own content, this will get exspensive lol.

the most important is consistent posting quality content. if you can do 10/ day go for it.
still the hard part for single webmaster is spliting time, since we also need to create backlink and promote content

Depending on the niche, it will vary, but you should maintain quality always, and consistency will be an important factor in posting.

Whatever is the number you can handle consistently over a long period of time without sacrificing quality.

All these exact number per day or per week guidelines are BS.

I don't think the number of your new posts matter. But usually it's better to have a stable schedule. for example add a specific number of posts everyday in a specific hour

It doesn't matter, you can post any number as long as you give your self enough time to research, and you are writing quality and informative posts.

The more frequently you can post great content, the better. There is no downside to updating frequently, other than a potential dip in quality. If you can update once a day without such a trade-off, then do it. If you can post once a week, then do that. Stick to a schedule that works for you, or don’t follow a schedule at all. Just don’t let yourself go for weeks without an update. That could hurt you in the long run.

There is no limit to posting an article, but remember that you should always maintain quality.

OP, it totally depends on your niche and format
Some niches involve content that almost never changes (ie., "evergreen")

If you're in a fast-changing niche and your blog uses a news format, you have to update A LOT
