How often should I post on my new blog?

Crawl budget refers to the number of pages Googlebot crawls on your site within a given timeframe.
Search Console's request limits for crawling set a cap on the number of URL submissions; exceeding it might delay crawling, impacting indexing frequency, but won't permanently halt Google's crawlers.
 
it also depends on the category as well, if it's a news site then you might have to publish daily 8-10 articles, if it's case study type of blog, then monthly 1 article is good enough, if it's a tech review type of blog, then i would recommend daily one article.

You should publish consistently at least 3~5 posts on daily basis, that will lead you in better position. However, it also depends on your niche, targeted keywords and some additional variables.

The problem is I currently nearly have no audience so I'm trying to drive traffic from social media for now.

Thank you. Currently I have no SEO tool so I'm only going by instinct. Should I get one as soon as possible? Do you think I should update my previous posts with better writing and SEO when I get something like Semrush?

Purely using AI will probably generate extremely vague content, which can sometimes be repetitive. So I suggest using both AI and your own writing skills to edit the content in a way where it's engaging yet informative.

Also, I suggest using an SEO tool rather than going by instinct to figure out what keywords are best to use for a specific niche and in what topics they lack in information, as well as to constantly keep track of how your blog is progressing.

Thaks a lot. I think the content AI generated for me is pretty good in that case. It is very informative, true. But maybe it lacks the engaging part.

Thanks. That's a good recommendation. But what I mean is there is only a few posts on my site and I don't want to pump content too quickly like others suggested.
 
I really recommend that you strongly focus on the quality of your blogs instead of the quantity. You should publish at least once a week, but if you have a lot of new content, you can publish more often.
 
To keep your audience engaged you can post the articles on a daily basis.
 
Instead of chasing numbers, focus on making your posts useful first. It may be enough to make one good, useful post a week at first to build trust and authority around your topic.
 
Posting 3-5 articles per week is good but always focus on the quality of the content and then increase the count.
