Hey everyone I was wondering it seems like every monday my website increases and rank and wonder if theres a specific time that google indexes things or what happens exactly? Also what is google dance?

Index frequency depends on authority. Popular sites can be indexed more than once an hour.

There definitely is no specific times as your SERPs will be different depending on where a user is located and propagation etc.

Google dance is just your seach position moving around. Could be on page one then jump to page 2 then back to page 1 at a different position etc. Common for new sites while Google is trying to work out where to place you

indexing happens once - when it includes your pages for first time in its search results.

What you might seeing is dancing in the positions, which is pretty common thing nowadays due to the google algos

Not necessarily. Google will hit your site regularly to check for changes, see if it is broken etc. They call that indexing as well

nope, that is called "crawling" and yes, it happens on a regular basis. If there's new changes on your site they are being updated into the search results accordingly, but that is not indexing, it is just an update or as some call it re-indexing

the more you keep your website updated, the more SE spiders visits, the better chance it get index fast.

Indexing depends on how often you publish new posts, Let us say, If you have a news site and publish 1 post for every 5 minutes then google indexes your site within 5 minutes. If you don't update your website with new posts then it will take more than 7 -10 days to get indexed.

the larger size of website , the higher frequency of updates , the higher will be your indexing rate .
If you check who's online of certain large Vb powered forums you might see at-least 15-60 spiders crawling at the same time.

Setup a Google Webmasters Tools account! You can view this type of data there :)

i think u meant crawling... for mine, it almost everyday.

Yeah valid. I hear it called indexing a lot though. Horses for courses

Hi I am starting with your words; "Wonder if theres a specific time that google indexes things?" Google scheduled indexing by the websites performance. Google indexing depends on when you are updating your site. As an example, if you add new post to your website every day, google will index your site once a day. OR If you update your site with one or several posts once-a-week, google will index your site once-a-week. By reading your post I can guess, you take break in Saturday or Sunday and google scheduled indexing for weekly basis updates.

So don't be worry about google's indexing, google will always done his job in time.

Most of the times Google will index a new website gradually. The speed at which Google will index all your internal pages will depend on different factors though.
