How Often Do You Refresh Ad Creatives?

Creative fatigue is becoming a common problem in paid ads. How often do you normally refresh creatives, and what signs tell you it’s time to test something new?
Would like to know your process.
I don't refresh on any schedule at all. I know that I need to test 2-3 creatives nd see what work when my CTR is low, my CPC is high, or I have excesive frequency.

I try to keep testing new creatives regularly instead of waiting for performance to drop. It helps find winners before the old ones stop working.

I don't run on a fixed calendar schedule, I run on frequency threshold — once frequency crosses 3.5-4 n CTR starts droppin while CPM creeps up, that's my trigger to refresh, not some arbitrary "every 2 weeks" rule, bc a high-budget acct can burn through frequency in days while a small acct might take a month, so watch the metric not the calendar

Yes, I am in agreement that number will play an imprtant part rather than the preset timetable for campaign. In fact, there are some campaigns that might take month to complete nd other might just fail in day.

for me i dont change creative very often but i do when necessary

For me it depends on the campaign size. Some creatives run for weeks, some die in few days. Performance decides when to change.

My process is simple, I keep testing new ideas every week. Some fail, some become winners. This way I don’t depend on one creative for too long.

I don’t follow a fixed schedule because every account has a different creative lifespan. I usually refresh when I see rising CPA, declining CTR, lower engagement, or frequency increasing. The goal is to replace creatives before performance drops too much.

For me, watching audience response is important. When people start ignoring an ad, it’s usually time to try something different.

I mostly measure advertising effectiveness based on revenue; a campaign is considered effective when revenue reaches a certain level. Regarding testing time, each product will have a different testing period. For example, when testing new clothing designs, i only test 6 videos in one day for 6 different designs across various campaigns.

When ad conversion rates decline, we may consider change it

i just don't refresh creative in a scheduled manner. but i create ad content everyday and test the same extensively. once i am sure the specific content will perform, i make them live and copare it with old creative. i replaace the old if new one is preparing better than old one.

it depends, if the campaign is getting good results no interest in changing it, if not then every week
