How often do you guys mass unfollow on Twitter?

Title says it all, how often do you guys unfollow those who aren't following you? I know twitter has the aggressive churning policy, has anyone found a safe number? How much longer do you guys wait again to bulk follow. Thanks guys!

From what I've read 200 seems to be a safe limit. Pablo is technically correct since you're allowed to unfollow thousands a day but it's safer to only unfollow around 150-250.
 
i try to keep it under 10/hour which is ~220-230 daily but its evenly spread out, not mass unfollows at once, just unfollows a person from a parsed list at a random interval and i just leave it running 24/7.
 
150-250 is definitely a safe number, but I know people who do more without problems
 
and is this all done daily assuming that you're following at the same time
 
Depend if is young or old account. I've experience when I was banned for no reason after following 10 people (I think was random bann) but when I'm using older accounts (1/2 years) I can follow and unfollow 250 people in 30 minutes. If you want to do it in few seconds you can get banned.
 
You can unfollow as many as you want. What you really need to pay attention to is spam factor.

If you unfollowed 10k people in 1 hour, there will be no complaints sent to twitter.

If you were to follow even 500-1000 in that same hour, you are bound to get suspended as the block/ignore requests will be posted against you triggering a suspension.

I have NEVER been suspended for mass unfollow and I have unfollowed 100,000 people in 3 hours.

Thanks for the info, but how would the aggressive churning apply then, lets say you unfollow 10k people but then follow 250 people right after, would that not be susceptible activity.
 
I only mass unfollow once my following numbers are over my followers, it what works for me and i never had any problems doing that way
