How often do you go for Vacations

I recently lost my mojo "working spirit" this past couple of weeks the excitement to work has drastically decreased. and while I always enjoy doing what I do but I don't enjoy doing the same things anymore despite making money from IM. thinking of going for a holiday and coming back to work with full force. what has worked for you?

I stopped going on vacations 5-10 years ago. Too boring and expensive.
I prefer the mental stimulation over relaxation and being lazy.
 
No vacation for me too, my next vacation will be in afterlife once I leave this shithole.

I don't see a point making vacations when at the same moment so many people die because of war, starvation etc. I just can't do vacation at the same time they die.

I go every 2 months. Pick destinations around nature not bullshit like Las Vegas thats, not a vacation. Last vacation about 1 week ago was in Maui Hawaii awesome nature, snorkling, surfing, campaign and hiking - I dont do the regular tourist shit I like adventure travel
 
McDonalds, Malls, Beer where isn't the same shit different pile these days? All four corners of the world are the same now. Antarctica tours are probably the only exception if you don't mind freezing your bollocks off for a week or so.

Due to the 'sameness', next 'vacation' is probably going to be on DMT I think.
 
My money doesnt like vacations, because my money doesnt like leaving me. And my money knows that a vacation means my money leaves me, and on the other hand less of it comes in. Its like double insult, double defeat.

I almost never go on vacations.

Besides, vacations arent what they used to be when i was a kid, and they arent what they used to be historically.

Used to be, you on a vacation as a kid, its all different and new. Wow man.

Used to be you go on a vacation as an adult, and you see some weird houses and weird people dressed weird and acting weird wow man thats crazy.

But now, nike addidas shopping mall. Its all the same everywhere you go. So i dont really see a point. Im gonna spend my time and money to go somewhere and see the same stuff that i see where i live every day?

Wow man, you guys are nuts. Look, squirrel. Yaaay.

Maybe i go see the 7 wonders of the world, and North Korea. Nothing else feels wow man this is new to me...
 
Define Vacation
Just a break from work quite often whenever I need it
Actually go visit somewhere outta my cave, once a year or once every two years.
 
I haven't had a vacation since my youth. lol.
 
I live on a permanent vacation - that's what happens when you enjoy what you are doing.
 
I never understood the purpose. I have a friend who spends thousands upon thousands of dollars every year to go on her 2-3 vacations a year and she always comes back more flustered and anxiety-ridden than when she left. Between airline and travel drama to expense and wallet fatigue, then problems constantly creeping up back at home you can't actually deal with because you are 5000 miles away, I just don't see the point. Call me cynical but, just go to sleep or something instead lol
 
Vacation to me is taking a break from work and all the loads to explore mother nature or whatnot and then coming back to whatever i do, in most cases. it doesn't require you to break your bank. I'm not talking about going on a cruise ship vacation by the way.
 
The last vacation I went on [not a vacation but a wedding] was back in 2019. I can't leave my dad alone, so we are thinking of taking him along, but he seemed very reluctant. One day maybe..................
