Just noticed that my navel is dirty, I can't remember last time I carefully cleaned it.

How often do you usually clean or wash your navel?

Honestly it’s one of those small things people forget easily, but just keeping it clean during a normal shower is usually enough. Warm water and a bit of gentle soap works fine no need to overthink it. Just make it part of your regular routine and you’re good.

Every shower tbh. Not some deep cleaning ritual but a quick wash with soap so nothing weird starts growing in there lol. Funny how everyone forgets the navel exists until one day you look at it and go nah this needs maintenance.

if you havent cleaned it in years do not go digging in there with a q-tip right away. easy way to get a minor infection or just make it super sore. just let warm water run over it in the shower for a few days to loosen things up first. i check mine maybe once a month, everyday is wild to me

Yeah, people often forget to clean that part but I usually do.

If you bath for at least 10 minutes, you would be able to clean virtually every hole.

I have too much fun grossing the kids out with the lint that gathers in there after a day or two - so i will not be cleaning it, ever.

Also... Its called a Belly Button.

Ah. Right.

Belly button fluff has a very weird yet unique bacterial smell though.

Might be weird but it's kinda nice.
