So how often or how many times a day do you check your rankings? I do 1x a week so not sure if im missing out on things but do you have to check it more then once a week?

How say you :)

I do it every 2 hours when I am at home lying around :P
I have all my keywords .. lined up in bookmarks .. I just click them one by one ;)
 
With Rank tracker i check them dozens of time a day, for those where i am dancing ;)
 
from time to time, im kind of busy since I have my own cooking show on food network
 
Generally I do.....wait...let me check...
 
hahaha so shit i must be behind the times if im doing it 1x a week ;p
 
depends on my keywords popularity.

high value keywords - every 6 hours
medium value keywords - every 12 hours
low value keywords - once a day
 
I check keywords about once every two weeks. I found day to day changes not to matter so much, especially after a blast or other SEO campaign. Your true results are when the dust settles.
 
I recommend every 7 days (or 14 for lower value projects). If your checking daily, or worse multiple times per day, your wasting time.

The changes that are important are not the day to day ones, but week to week.
