How often do you check keyword progress?

I check it everyday in SEMrush and i think i am so much obsessed about it.

How often do you track the keyword position movement to understand SEO progress?

I see some keywords dipping and rising every 4-14 days. is that normal behavior?

Is there some study about this keyword movement to anticipate and understand better?

i just used atserps and you can check movements every two hours if you want
 
I do it everyday and this is killing me. I'm looking into setting up more properties so I'll be occupied and not have time to check keywords everytime.
 
Just once a day, in the morning, if i have time.
 
ivhd never checked since last 2 years :D
 
I have been building backlinks on a regular basis. So I would check twice a day..
 
You can do whenever you want, but if you want to see significant changes once in week should be fine.
 
Let yourself get some relief time. Don't be over stressed with minor fluctuations in keywords rankings. Rankings maybe fluctuating everyday but checking between difference of 5-6 days is enough or good I would say for letting search engines determine.
