If I can create Twitter accounts without inserting my phone number then are there any limits for accounts that are not PVA? Can they follow less/day than PVA accounts? Will they get suspended more often?

Thanks!

In future its asking phone verification because accounts get growing so twitter asking your phone numbers mate . .

You can't make a Twitter app without inserting and verifying your account on twitter as far as I can remember.

Other than that it's just to prevent spam I guess.

i think OP answered his own question, PVAs are less of a risk, if you don't phone verify the accs, chances are that you'll be prompted to do it at some point, you can get these around $0.1 a pop if you buy bulk (1k+), if less, then it's $0.15/acc, Russian numbers, created from US ips, they work totally fine

you can spare yourself a lot of headaches, if you start with PVAs right away, email verify the accs too, so when you're getting prompted to reset your password, you'll be able to select which way you want to do it and even if you don't have access to the phone number anymore, you'll be able to do it via email

i still have accs which have never been phone verified and doing just fine, but the rule of thumb and my experience too, that PVAs are more tolerant to password reset and suspension

At one point twitter require phone verification to make sure that the
account is authentic and not monitored by a bot.

Phone verified accounts are way better and safer if you ask me. If I'm not mistaken, I think the follow limits are also higher.
