CodeGuard Basic
Single Domain SSL
SiteLock Essentials

The blog I'm making is a passion project/ side hustle. I know I should probably get the Yoast SEO tool, and I'm not interested in google workspace just yet, but as for everything else, I'm what you call a noob.

Most of these are oversells that you usually don't need.

Domain privacy and protection for example - your whois information nowadays is protected anyways due to GDPR, so it's mostly redundant to pay extra for it.

Codeguard - I have never seen it actually be useful for someone - it's backups, which your provider already has and you can take for free, plus malware protection that's questionable and can be achieved in many other ways. Your host probably already has ImunifyAV or Imunify360, you can add security plugins for WordPress, so .. redundant

Single Domain SSL - totally useless, all cPanel servers have AutoSSL, which provides a free valid SSL that's renewed every 90 days for as long as your domain name lives on their server. It's in no way better or worse than paid SSLs.

Sitelock - again security - overkill/overlapping service, just an upsell..

Google Workspace - only if you need it or want to use it

Yoast Premium SEO - only if you need it or want to use it, I am not sure what the premium version adds on top of the free one, but you can compare

Bluehost upsells you all sorts of crap. If you can use some other hosting service, use that.

Otherwise, all of those are basically bullshit.
Transfer your domain to Cloudflate. You get Whois redaction for free there. Charging for Domain Privacy + Protection is stupid.

CodeGuard Basic and SiteLock, I don't know what they do.

SSL certificate is free with letsencrypt. If you proxy your site with cloudflare, you get SSL for free too.

Yoast Premium you can get that from Deleted member 752298. I think he uploaded it here once.

ask Deleted member 752298 he can give u some for free

Thanks for the mention gents!

@PurpleMushroom -- feel free to let me know which plugin you need, I am happy to upload it here for free (in case I have it).

I wont recommend you to go for any of these upgrades at this moment, as codeguard is not that much reliable and same with sitelock, there are many complaints for them.
