How MySpace is helpful in SEO?

I never use MySpace for SEO Purpose and I don't know how to use it, so please share your valuable opinions with me that How MySpace is useful in terms of SEO?

Well you can link back to your site and possibly gain some traffic but it isn't worth it in my opinion. Your much better using facebook, you'll probably get better conversions too.
 
Its just another Social Media link, unless as the poster above stated you actually build up a presence and a reputation, then you can get some traffic. But I think their mostly centered around music artists, bands, etc. these days.
 
Any link is a good link for SEO, IMO, as long as the quality and relevance meet Google's criteria. But you have to build links for traffic since G's criteria changes and is largely unknown.
 
Facebook will help better with traffic but don't forget myspace is a PR8 domain, and a backlink from them is could help. :)
 
If there are people that use myspace, it can be helpful to get traffic to your site. However, I am not sure how many people actually use it these days. I know that many that I have talked to have said that it was not something that they liked anymore, so there are not as many users as it once had.
 
I know its not probably a relevant question .. but I wonder there are sub forums for facebook and my space but not for Twitter

You're right, it's not relevant at all... So why revive a dead thread?
 
MySpace Local has potential to be a useful Citations and Local Listings with the great, as well as a good competitor to Facebook
 
i think most of the users from myspace are on fb now, i don't think myspace is some ignored goldmine in this case
 
Oh my god! I just got idea to open a new account in myspace but with these shares, it's stopping me to be away without getting into it. :( Though it is not beneficial one, I just gonna try this.
 
Believe me its worthless to post links there, I have posted 2-3 links of my site there - Neither traffic nor backlinks, I got from there.
