Thanks I have already done this and asked that they would remove the entire article under his accounts. Since mine was created on oct. 22nd and his was dated on the 23rd so i don't see why they wouldn't. Also I'm reading up on copyright laws and trying to find out my options.
First off, articles are protected by a copyright system that woulds through ' protected ' public domain. That means that anyone can repost it but they MUST give credit to the original author. If he is posting you on a different account, contact the support of the article directories.
The problem with that is that you can generate multiple ids for generating articles directed at different sites you own. So there is no way to block it from being cloned.
The good news is that there ARE ways to block it from happening. You have to stop leaving footprints for this guy to follow. What he is doing is stealing your content, ranking and using your site to make quick cash and the search engines are killing them both in relation to a duplicate content issue.
I've seen this countless times before and he is profitting from your posts, not trying to destroy you...or maybe he is but that doesn't seem like the case because he is stealing your content from what you are saying. If that's the situation, he is simply redistributing your content.
Lazy bastard can't even spin it to keep you both in the green. That will be short lived. Don't waste your time bothering to try and stop him by chasing him down. Simply brick up the hole he is coming through like any other rat.
Here's how to stop that. It takes some work but obviously, it is worth the effort.
1. Get a list of the top 20 keywords for your target niche. Break every 5 terms into 4 sets, Best to worst.
2. Write 5-10 articles for your target niche. Spin 3-5 different versions of those articles.
3. Take those 4 sets of keyword terms, selecting 1 term from each set, giving you a new list of 4 keywords from best to worst. Attach those new mixed combinations as your target search terms to tag to each of the new articles. Be sure never to use a spin of the ' same ' article for the same keyword combination twice. You can mix and match and have more than one article for the same keyword, just make sure it isn't of the same spun article set.
4. Post one article from each spun set on your money page/main url as the relevant content - DON'T put these on some BS ' article ' page. Put them on the main page of the site, as subpages that have direct tabs in the navigation of your webpage. Aslo, put the keywords in your title and meta-tags but not anywhere on your page unless it is in the title of the article.
The biggest mistake people make is posting their keywords in their content. It's instant and firey death. Use relevant adjectives, not the actual keyword.
Follow these steps and repeat it atleast once a month at random. I personally do this once a week to keep from getting trumped by anyone dropping in for link competition on me. It's whitehat, it's 100% legal and legit and completely unstoppable, as it makes your homepage a stable and productive authority site in no time flat.
The catch is that if you are doing anything as far as spamming or cookie stuffing, they will tank your site and no amount of work will save you from that.
You will make your site so deep in content, the search engines will blow this guy off as duplicate content and dump him instead of you.
That being said, stomp his hide in making his method no longer workable...not by wasting your life chasing him or worrying about it. Make some money and let him hang himself.
