Hi Guys,

I have a local nightlife blog [US Competitive Niche] with 4000 monthly visitors [Growing and Mostly Locals]

How much you would charge for sponsored posts for clients like Nightlife Mobile Apps (Local Events and VIP booking or Local Bars Happy Hours Spots) are seeking the same exact audience.

What business model do you recommend?

Thank you

Thank you. Sorry I forgot to add word “guest” they are looking for guest posts with their own content and backlinks.

I charge $30 - $150 for guest posts on my sites. You can do plenty of research here on bhw as there’s a few providers offering guest posts based on traffic numbers.

If you’ve got 4K visitors per month and it’s well targeted to the clients niche then it’s definitely worth a few hundred per post (publishing fee, not including content).

Guest posts can go for a lot depending on niche. If you already have posts I would look into selling inserted links into those old posts? That may command a higher price.

Also reaching out to potential clients and asking what they would pay or have paid in the past seems like a good approach. At the very least it is one more connection in your rolodex.

i requested for a guest post on a site with 20k monthly active users they ask for $150 so i assume nightlife niche will be a lower. but it also depends on the value your blog brings to them.

@davids355 Good to know the average prices. I appreciate it.

@Coastline17 Thank you. I tried that in the beginning and the answer was "That is dependent upon the websites analytics/overall reach. Do you by chance have a press kit that includes this information and pricing?".

Second potential client they CC'ed the marketing director and waiting to see what information they will share with me.

@Maticzilla Thank you for the information. I appreciate it.

A lot of times you will be dealing with a middleman when selling guest posts. Some will get back to you when you quote them, others will add you to their database of potential sites. Some will pay your asking price and others will try to get you very low in price.

I get tons of guest post requests but the ones that pay are much fewer.

You should first have some metrics like outbound clicks or something, so you can charge higher for guest posts or banner ads on your website.

Clients really just want to know what they can expect for their investment

if you getting google traffic means sell coupon kind of things.
