I've built up a large Email Marketing audience (over 30 million) and I've got people interested in me promoting their product/service, so I'm deciding on a pricing plan.

I'm not going to charge per X emails sent, but more visitors delivered to their website.

I was thinking $35 per 1000 visits, yet a colleague says it should be more like $35 per 100 visits.

Obviously, the emailing list is 'cold' for them, as they didn't actively subscribe to their product/service, but the purpose of the email content will also of course be to filter people out who aren't interested and for people to only click if they want to know more.

I get circa $2 per visitor I send via my newsletter. But it will depend on your audience. Mine is b2b usa focused.

Worldwide, but I have it split into countries, so I give clients the option for country/language.

$35. for 100 visits for me is good. The thing is, my audience is VERY targeted. The people who visit my web page all work in a certain business industry.

I think $35 (per 1k visits) seems right for a price without specific zones, targeting multiple countries. However, I believe traffic to other areas (for example: specifically the U.S.) could be offered at a higher price.

35$/1k may help u to reduce cost but i dont think it will gain many good qualitied results

You need to have dynamic pricing. Geo and niche are one thing, but also see what are they selling. For a highly competitive and expensive product or service they could be paying a lot more if they chose to run a campaign on meta or google.

Attractive content, standard audience → High CTR then CPC decreases.
Accurately target interests → avoid irrelevant audiences.

I should maybe put something such as "From $35" but then ask them to complete a form for a quote?

I think it would be more reasonable if you base your pricing on conversions.

The whole purpose of this is I'm charging for visits/clicks, not as an affiliate.

So I won't be doing it based on commission/conversions.

No one will pay $35 per 100 visits. That is more costly than google advertising which is a much more trusted platform.

Well.. it isn't. Because $35 for 100 is $0.35 a click - a lot of Google clicks are over $1-2.

But I was thinking more $35 / 1000 anyway.

It sounds like you've got a large and potentially powerful email list, but the key is balancing the value you're offering and the expectations of the advertisers.

Instead of selling access, promote affiliate offers with aggressive marketing to this list, or at least segments of this list (because you're not going to target everyone at once). By nurturing leads before initiating the offer, you can make money.
