How much would you pay for a SEO service?

What is the most you would pay for a super high quality SEO service. By super high quality I mean stuff that is extremely efficient and not the usual comment posting and stuff.

Its up to the people. I mean most of the clients I got from fiverr, dp,wf and bhw were not ready to pay more than $300 per month.

But then if you get clients those who have no idea on seo, like corporate people they are easily ready to pay 2k per month.

If you ask just my opinion I'd spend max 500$ per month for mid-high competition sites

It totaly depends on the keywords and competition and also how many keywords the client wants to target. I have a client who pays me $xxxx for 10 keywords and I managed to get 8 keywords with 250,000 competing pages each to first page and he is really happy . Some people might even charge $xxxxx for this service but I dont want to . So it all comes down to how much work you will be putting into the SEO services.

You get what you pay for, simple as that.

Really depends on many things, estimated earnings for project, budget, earning duration (short term/long term) , but ye you can have people paying $1k-2k (businesses), but more than 2k is harder, only big clients will do.

I'd be willing to pay $1k or more if I could prove that the service was truly worth $1k. I know a lot of people think being hired by a company that knows nothing about SEO means they can get away with charging ridiculous amounts for something like basic linkbuilding that would normally only cost $100 or so.

It would really depend on what your offering, what sort of results past clients have got, and what other people offers/prices are.

high PR comment posting is one of the fastest and most effective ways to rank keywords...

I'm unsure I'd be willing to pay for SEO services at all without high PR manual/drupal/engine comments

One takes a lot of skill to find (something I'm currently perfecting). If I paid over $500/mth I'd expect at least 150 PR3 or great blog posts from unique IP unique domains every month + web 2.0s (at least 60/day) plus articles and bookmarks/etc and general pyramid work.

asking something so broad like "how much would you pay for seo services" is like asking "how much would you pay for food"

the answer is always going to be the same; it depends on what is being offered.

Heres the deal
On this forum everyone offers services like:
X Amount of links
X amount of .edu and .gov links
and so on
with no guarantee of position in google or other search engines they just do the raw foot work they offer
that makes things much cheaper
If you want to charge more youll have to go straight to local Business and do more hand holding and stand behind the work you do.

The emphasis was on "super high quality". The reason I was so brief in the question was because you should not assume the service is anything similar to anything EVER offered anywhere. This would be a no-limits scalable service that you could use to rank for any keyword. ANY KEYWORD as long as you have the cashflow to sustain the campaign. My goal is to find how many people actually afford and would be interested in actually paying for quality.

I want to offer a SEO service like never before seen but it so advanced that no newbie could afford, understand or be able to sustain. Since I think the money is in the newbie group (under $500 services) I was questioning the profitability of such enterprise from my side.

While links like d0f0llow blog comments would be used they are just a tiny and weak side of the service. Bottom line is it is scalable and as long as you're in a profitable business you get great ROI over time. Also, as a side-note the service will likely spread over 6mo-1year for each campaign. It is not the X links for $Y stuff.

Depends on a lot of things: What kinda SEO are we talking of, the work required, turn around time, guaranteed results or not, estimated profits etc.

The most I have paid and will pay is around $200-$300 a month.

I usually have paid about $225 a month and I was on first page of google for many high competitive keywords and my traffic quadruple

it all depends on what type of seo service if its a guaranteed page one ranking of keywords then the sky the limit, if is for a few backinks then a few $ maybee.
Also how long and how many clients has the backlinking seo service company got,
their are so many questions first before you can put price on it.

Really depends on the amount you want done and how much you can afford for the quality of the services you can afford.

I could pay up to 30% of the money i made with the site, you rank.

If i make 10K due to the good site, and good keywords, then why not pay you 3K/mo? And even 5k.mo?

I said up 30% because usually a site has other expenses like money for content and design, and taxes you need to pay.

But its not all about money one can pay.

First thing first I don't know you, nigher you know me. You see I am new to BHW with only a few posts, right? Are you willing to pay you when the site is ranked for the given keyword? I don't think so. Most probably you will ask for money in advance. But how can I pay you if i dont know you, your business, and SEO at all? We need to use an escrow service.

Second it comes to conversions. Yeah, my site is new and i don't know how it will convert. I want to make 100 sales/mo = 10k if you rank the site for weight loss. But will it make it? I doubt unless i know what i am doing. But ... how can i promise i will pay you 3k/mo if the site is nowhere in SERP and I don't have a clue if it will make a sale/mo or not?

All in all its a difficult game.

If you offer the best SEO service ever, why dont you use it on your own websites? Yeah, i know, why.
