How much would you charge?

This is my first post in this forum.
As the title says i would like to get some of your expert opinions about prices in the instagram marketing.
I have an account in the travel niche, with 3K followers, 9% engagement and 250 average likes per post. Recently i' ve been contacted by an event organizator who asked me to sponsorize his 3-days event in a local area. I offered him a 24h post+story for €8 and i' ve never heard back from him anymore. Did i charge too much for such a small account? I based my price doing simple maths considering a guy in this forum was charging €25 for the same story+24h post with 10k followers.

It depends in a lot of factors, and to be honest; The guy wasn't interested and honest. Since an instagram account with 3k that is probably miles away located won't help him promote a local event at all.

I forgot to mention that the event was in the same area as my account is. I' m sorry for omitting it.

Oh then, 8$ is literally nothing. He should've accept it.

How much would you have charged? Considering i' m in Europe.

Well, it's so much valuable since it's a local one with 3K followers, so let's say i'll charge at least 20.
