I've been wondering about this question for quite some time. I have a website that have not been updated because of my working schedule. Someone is interested to buy the website and ask me how much would I sell for it. I have no clue on what to say. Does anyone on BHW have this kind of experience?

Depends on content etc.

I would charge:
10$ Domain (unless it's special)
+ 10$ for privacy if you have
+ 1$/100 words content around? if good content

If PR2 add 10$
If PR3 add 50$
If PR4 add 100$

One of these guidelines?

Multiply the monthly income by, say, six and there you go.

I always thought income projections were calculated yearly then multiplied by 3? Maybe i'm wrong. If the domain has been neglected I doubt its generating much revenue anyway, in which case it really depends on how much content is on there and what PR you have.

Thanks..this is a good guideline

Wait..the purchase is including a FB fan page with 300+ likes and a twitter account with 500+ followers

In short, it's likely not worth much. But, the best way to find out what your website is worth is to throw it on Flippa or take it to the BHW marketplace to see what the market thinks it is worth.

Ok, I already checked it out with a few members here. The website doesn't worth anything but the domain does. It's ok because I am willing to sell it cheap
