How much would I be able to sell this for?

I have a big box of greetings cards in my room, there are loads of different designs, and many are still wrapped. They were obtained from a skip over a year ago. There's a few thousand of them, and they're all clean.

What I want to do is get rid of them, but I want to get some money for them, and I think I can monetize them better than just making a joblot and selling on ebay.

What I'm planning to do is market them as a "business in a box". I'd do this by coming up with a business name, making a quick website from a template, and saying inventory included. I'd also probably add say a 10 page ebook on starting and running the business, along with some suppliers. I'd then advertise this locally.

So what do you guys think? Is this the best method of selling these? Should I just go for the joblot? How can I improve my "business in a box" plan? How should it be priced?

Thanks very much! :D

lot's of cannabis seed vendors need greeting cards to put in their 'stealth' envelopes. basically it's an envelope with some corrugated plastic (seeds hidden in the holes in the plastic) and a decoy greeting card inside mailed to the buyer.

dunno if that helps

Good on you for thinking outside the box like that...if it were me I'd just want them out of my way asap. I think your business idea is clever, even better if you had some projections and market research etc.

atb for your success.

Thanks, although not sure whether many would need the quantities I have, and I could just sell in a joblot on ebay. What I'm saying, is if it's marketed as a business in a box, I'll make more out of it.

Thanks anyway though :)

Thanks :) I'll try and come up with some projections and market research, maybe phone up some of the greetings card franchise businesses, and pretend I'm interested in becoming a franchise, to get that info off them.

Thanks, although do you or anyone else have any ideas on how much I should sell this for? :)
