How much traffic is considered good traffic?

At unique visits per day, how much would you consider to be good traffic?

Anything about 500?

Here is a tip: Focus more on obtaining quality traffic than bulk traffic :)
 
Agreed with what everyone is saying

100 active unique visitors a day that turn into conversion are far more valuable then 100,000 inactive visitors

I judge my sites on how much revenue they draw in.
 
where much depends upon niche to niche... if you are for example a hosting company offer free vps

then traffic of 1000 would be called as normal traffic but if you r niches is something like limo service in an area then 500 is a good amount of traffic!
 
Yeah, it's all about your niche and target. For adult sites, getting 500 visitors a day is considering nothing and you won't earn much with this few visitors. For a stock/insurance site, it's a LOT and you'll get some nice paid clicks.
 
In everywhere quality matters like good quality is more enough to achieve things better than more quantity even it is in low amount.
 
Im getting about 150 a day with really low revenue... I don't know why, I structure my website really well, don't overuse ads, review products... all the works.
 
Referral traffic is the best in my oppinion. Especially if you want to convert them. So, the number is not the issues here.
 
Seems like everyone here hit the nail on the head Quality over Quanity if your looking fr it to convert
 
How musch you can earn with 150 unique hits /day through Google ?
 
It's not all from google, I get referrals too. Im earning very little thou, only made one sale so far don't know why.
 
How much traffic from the unique visitors in converted ? Or how many of them being subscribers? That's most important.
You can buy thousands of unique visitors, but that's junk and no one will be converted.
 
Read a book called "Cashvertising" it helped me. Your site might be good but your copy might just not be effective
 
100 targeted credit report visitors and 5 leads = ~$70
100000 untargeted chineese visitors and x leads = ~$2>
 
Quality traffic is more important ..
Always remember this point ..
