How much traffic for $100 per day?

Ok so I know it's a bit of a silly question because traffic doesn't always equal sales, but I was just wondering how much a good click bank affiliate site should get?

I'm just starting out and get around 80 UV per day and have around 500 hops, but only 2 sales. I know that my traffic isn't that good and I'm working on my rankings. I'm happy that I'm selling at least something, but I would love to know the general tips for creating more affiliate sales.

There's no way to tell without knowing the initial payout for each sale, and how well the product converts. In fact, there's actually no 100% accurate way to calculate how much traffic you need to reach $100/day.
 
clickbank pay for CPA earning only and it's depend from your sell not the traffic site. Get the real client for your promoting product, and sell more, sell more and more to get high payment. For me clickbank is the best CPA ever.
 
Depends on the quality of the traffic and how well your landing page pre-sells them.

If you have a domain that is reviewing product x and you are ranking for "product x review" and your landing page copy and design is good then you can probably convert 5%+ of the traffic you get.

But if you have a shitty site with shitty content and you're getting general traffic from keywords like "what is xyz" then you will hardly ever get any sales.
 
Depends on niche but 2 sales out of 80 UV on Clickbank product is good in my opinion
 
If you use email list, it depends on your swipe email and quality of landing page.

Thanks a lot mate. How can I get good quality traffic? Is it just a case of ranking for long tail keywords like "(insert product here) reviews?"
 
you can make 100$ with 1 visitor or you need 10.000 to make 100$ it depends what is that visitor looking for , and if he really has the intention to buy something before he powers up the computer.You can go the lucky method and just bring all types of traffic and hope some will conver (like i do ^^)
I get 1300-2000 uniques a day and there are days wheni make 0 and days when i make 250-300$ .Thats because i`m using the lucky method.But if you rely on SEO and you get urelsef up 10-20 websites ranked for long tail keywords you will bank decently
