Everyday twice or thrice i report multiple posts like this -

4psycJZ

I don't understand why someone or multiple people are running bots on bhw where people can sniff this shit from miles away. These links must be getting atleast some traffic to justify these being posted again and again. I doubt any of the traffic from here will convert though.

Real question is how many hits are they receiving from bhw ?

edit - can @Apricot or any other admin block - cluesforhealth . com (in the topic of the thread itself) , some if the links are same cluesforhealth . com / xxx , cluesforhealth . com / yyy

It is bot spam, I doubt they get many clicks through from BHW. They target thousands of sites, that's how they get some traffic/links.
Annoying though. Just keep reporting them and hopefully they will remove BHW from their list (unlikely).

I report dozens of these, just keep reporting them mate.

Yeah, it isn't that they're necessarily targeting BHW, I imagine BHW just ends up on their list after scraping.

can the admin block xxx . com domain from being in the domain title ? So if someone posts about the same domain again, the thread won't be published and user will be auto-banned ? What preventive measures can be taken against this ? Delaying registeration email from bhw by 10 mins should atleast reduce some of these spam. As most of the accounts are freshly created.

I had written up a huge forum feedback post about blocking threads with URLs as the title and deleted it before posting. As I was writing it, I realized it made it super easy to identify the spam. If they block something they're doing, they'll adjust and make the spam that much harder to identify.

well the best thing we can do is to make it harder , so atleast low level ballers would stop spamming it, someone clever will always find a workaround but not all of them can if the system is more strict.

Blocking urls in titles has been suggested several times but there are reasons why they don't want to do that.

I guess it's so members can still post things like ".com or .net" and similar type of thread titles.

Hi Tux i saw your thread for the social masterclass has been removed. But i think the links are still active. Also i can give you teh email for my friend who has built a shopify site scraper. It can copy the whole inventory of any store within a matter of minutes to a excel file to import.
