How much to rank a single word keyword?

Hi everyone,

I just want to get an idea of costs and time involved if I wanted to rank a keyword of mine. I understand no one knows for sure but some kind if idea would be great!

My domain is a .com 3 year old site.
The keyword is epc but I only want to rank in the UK, not all over the world because it is only relevant in the UK.
My domain contains the keyword like this: www epcxxxxxxxxx com
Exact matches are 22,000 per month.

So any ideas on time and costs to rank number 1? Number 2 is no good.

This is nothing like enough information to answer that question...

It's impossible to say without a thorough investigation of that keyword and all it's page one current rankings. And even then; you can't be sure.

Do a thorough analysis of page one and then you might get an idea.

uhm.. what does the current top 10 look like? how much backlinks, mozrank, pageauthority etc. etc. ?

No. It is a related word. Basically a longer tail keyword which has less traffic.

Just looked at the competition. It would take roughly 4-6 weeks* and would most likely cost approx. $500 - $1,000.

* Ranking time will vary based on your skill set or the skill set of the person you hire.

Expected time to rank: 2 months with around $600-800

Without proper information, it's just like asking how much to rank your site for the keyword "google". If you don't want to post here, just ask some reputed members and PM them with their permission, so that would give you an idea.
