How much to pay for a dropped pr7 domain?

How much do you think you can earn each month, multiply that times 3 to 12.
I'd want to know why it was dropped. Was/is the PR real? Was the domain age retained? How old was/is it? Any backlinks? How many, what kind, how spammy are they? Was the site de-listed? etc....
What kw's does the site focus on, and how profitable are they? What's the quality of the backlinks anchor text?
PR alone isn't going to deterimine it's value. On the other hand, a PR 7 site could be work quite a bit, depending on all the above.
I'd wonder how you acquired it, given that domainers make finding these opportunities a full-time occupation.

Thanks for stopping by. I am just in the process of acquiring one so nothing earned so far. The age shows 14 days so it is dropped and does not have backlinks. The site is still indexed in google and the pagerank is real. It is a two word domain and If I enter it in keyword tracking NO exact searches at all, but if I individually enter the first word of the domain it shows 720 exact search a month.
I was thinking of getting it if the price is low and then flipping it on digital point on their domain section or using it for ALN service. But, not sure as yet how much to offer. Should I offer a little more or less than $500? The way I am thinking is that even if it drops a bit in the next update, I might still have pr6 and if I add content and backlink, I might be also be able to retain pr7. ALN will get me free content anyways.

1. Domain name itself. Names with actual English words are more valuable than random xsfadsa.info
2. TLD - com/net/org go for more than info/me/co do.
3. Backlinks. If there's not much high quality backlinks, the domain will lose its PR. Take it for granted.
4. Take a look at Wayback archive for that domain. See if there was an actual website built on it?
Personally, I wouldn't buy a dropped domain for more than mid $xx - but again, some domains are really worth more but that is happens very, very rarely.

From my experience most probably this is not real pr7, it doesn't matter that most of the tools including Google indicate it's real... Think about it, first which owner of pr7 domain will leave it go just like that. Second there are many websites that monitor closeout domains and would buy it little before it's been dropped. Third with all that hype about high pr blog networks, high pr domains are searched more than ever.
My prediction is this domain has been redirected to real pr7 domain before it drops and got pr7 as well and it will retain the pr few months more.

NO previous history in wayback. Registered 14 days back so it must be dropped but not sure why nothing is there on wayback.
It got pr4 and pr6 backlink

The domain should still retain the backlinks. Use majestic to get a better idea if the PR is fake or not.

The bottom line is simple whether real or fake it will drop PR before you can get enough
content on to the site to maintain the PR - for me this would make me keep clear and look at something else!

Few years ago I was making money by selling backlinks via backlins.c0m. I scaneed thousands of expired domains every day, then picked a few with good pagerank and content cached in google or archive.org. It was making some money but the problem was after some time the domain lost the pagerank because of backlinks.c0m (google dont like them). Another problem was I was unable to manage big portfolio of domains, earnings I had to count manually (no API) to determine how much each domain raked me.
So the whole thing became too complicated and I moved on to other things. But I believe even today it's possible to use this method and make decent money, but you have to create the right management system and keep track of everything.

Dont buy a dropped domain with high PR, because after Panda update it very quickly loosing PR, so it's just waste of money.
