How much to charge per link?

I've got a sports blog with DA 20 and organic traffic 5k/mo

Someone reached out to me to write articles with do follow links and asked how much id charge per article. Any ideas?

$30 is too much for only DA20 imo. I have a DA51 and charge $70. For DA20 you're looking nearer $5-10.
 
can you guys give me suggestion also.
DA 21 and DR 53 RD50- no significant traffic yet. 4 months old.

The thing with Ahref's DR is that it's more accurate than DA. DA can be increased with spam backlinks. But - more people know what DA is and therefore for marketing purposes, it's better to use. Tell someone the DR and you might as well be speaking Chinese. Tell them the DA and they'll treat it as gospel.

Your DR is very decent, but your DA is low, so your price will be low - you're talking $10.

hmm i thought that organic traffic would factor in more than DA, that seems to be the trend these days esp on marketplaces..

It totally depends on who you are marketing to. Marketing on here and marketing to a random Joe are two very different things.

A lot of people don't "know it" - they go off DA and won't know the first thing about Ahrefs and DR. A DA20 is low and that's what most people (incorrectly) go off.
 
The prices change according to industries!

Casino, CBD, porn etc links cost around 100-200+ for DA20+.

Whereas you can get a DA20+ link at $20 in other niches.

Sports betting? Sell it for $100+
Just sports news? Sell it for $40.
 
actually, I do it free . Happen got people who in Music marketing team contact me about promoting their artist music . I do free. I ask them back to share as good gesture . I know they will not
but I'm ok.

If you can get people to pay the crazy prices quoted above then it's an easy profit for you.
 
I bought around 7 domains this time with DA 20-30, but their DR's are 11-19 max, there is a huge difference between those two. Still, when I promote I use DA metrics :D, because most people check DA whenever I talk about some blog postings.

Yep. I do the same. It's quite annoying though when people offer $10 for a DA51 site.
 
Nowadays Traffics are important than DA so you can ask $50 min.
