I had someone offer me 12% of whatever amount he loads into his campaigns, which could be a bit if all is going well - just curious, how do you price PPC management? Does my deal sound any good? I've never sold it before, so unsure of the usual?

Most companies charge $150-$1000 for set up, and then 10%-15% of the total budget every month. 12% is in the middle obviously, but you should charge them for an initial setup, because that is what is the most time consuming part.

    Depends on what your doing...

are you doing the term research ?

are you creating all ad copy ?

how often are you doing reporting ?

are you building landing pages ?

are you following up with recommendations to increase conversions ?

At min it would be 500.00 to get going and percentage of budget from there, but im unaware how much experience you have in the area of PPC, that alone can increase fees... 12% would be a good start if the budget is there

    Thats where i would start

Thanks for comments, well he has already got campaigns set up but he doesn't think he's getting enough with the company right now. So I'll be doing all new research and comparing with the previous. Will have to see how mine compares tomorrow..

If he wants you to write out your offering compared to what the other companies have done and research on, I would bill him for that or he may just take your proposal outline with the areas you improve on and the recommendations you do for a new strategy and say "thank you very much" and implement with someone else

    just a thought
