If I create a new page on a site of PR 5 or 6, how much will be require to index the new page?

It depends if the page is linked to from the home page or any other pages, and how often the Search Engine spiders visit those pages. So, we dont know for sure. Its not something we can answer you. If you want to speed it up, just submit the site to reddit or digg, or post a link to the page on your Twitter or Facebook.

Nice answer. I am discussing the services that is offered by most SEO companies. Services like article submission, directory submission and many others.

I have a pr 2 site and my articles gets indexed in less then 1 hour. As Kickflip said it will depend on how many spiders visit your site.

Anything from 1 minute to a few months.

I make a post on my WP blog, and ping it, it is indexed instantly.
If I create a static HTML page, ping it, do a SB blast, submit RSS, still it takes a few days to index it.

PR has nothing to do with it. Depends on spiderability of the site and the amount of linkbuilding done to the page. But what's most important is how well and frequently spidered the site is. Social media tends to get stuff indexed pretty quick too.

Nice replies by you guys here.
Thanks and look for more of them also.

Usually at most 24 hours. I have brand new site, and in 24 hours it is indexed.

Depends on its domain backlinks and how Search Engine spiders crawl that sites pages.

I don't think you ought to worry about indexing with those high PR domains. In our experience, we've seen pages with inlinks from high PR sites especially from the same root URL tends to get indexed sooner.

That sounds encouraging and realistic to me. Thanks.

PageRank, a metric that denotes the site?s value or authority, is based on incoming links. You need to have incoming backlinks from quality domains with good amount of PR in order for a webpage to increase its PageRank. Greater amount of PR indicates higher authority.

This depends on quality original content. If your site is brand new, you probably want to develope links overtime an a fairly consistent manner. If you are planning for an old site, it is difficult to know time for ranking. Let try to have good and unique content, keep working at brand building, keep making social connections and watch the traction build.

I agree with the comments above, There are ways around it just like the first reply stated submit the site to reddit or a social network!
