I had "recently" used @LukaB "Aura rank" (not sure how to spell it, by recently I mean I used it over several months (so recently starting months ago) on a keyword I'd consider low comp. Along with niche blog comments, which ranked the site very well. However I don't believe it to be a one time service. Plus I used an EMD. I'd recommend if you are going to pay monthly and not expect instant success. I have previously used his services as a "one off" and not been impressed, so definitely something that one should keep pushing with.

If you keep updating your site with unique relevant content and posting in relevant blogs with high metrics you can expect some changes in SERP and check out some ON-page techniques and do KW analysis before buying links and use low-competitive Kw's for building links than high competition Kw..Keep on tracking..

Maybe 3 or 4 months. According to your site competency level. If you build backlinks for your site, it may have a chance to rank up within 2 and half months.

Maybe you never get ranked if you have high competitive keywords. It depends on how you build links & do on page.
