2 hours typically. A lot of the time is spent on structuring the article so it's Google-friendly and researching the top ranking blogs with each keyword and semantic keyword.

If just chugging out some writing without research and proof reading, writing 1k words can be done in 15 minutes - if the data is already in your head.
Otherwise, if a good research needs to be done, trial/testing/content (videos/pictures), then that 1k would take the entire day to get done instead.

It takes me 2-3 hours to create a post and another 2 to make it unique. When feeling reluctant or a topic is tough I give it to content writing service company.
Is content of such articles unique? Never used spinner and testimonials differ.

About 2-3hrs. There is no problem to WRITE an article, but it's quite difficult to find the good study sources, pics, formatting that crap etc.
