Hi
I am pretty much new to seo and wanna know how much does getting an emd matter in helping you rank at top of google

Also tell me if cpc is say $2 ,does that mean i get $2 when someone clicks on my add in my website?

EMD still matters. I find especially with local sites.

You get a proportion of CPC on adwords. Check adwords docs.

EMDs were devalued. It's better to build a brand.

And no, you don't get $2 just because it says it costs the advertisers $2.
