how much tabs you will open

wow, that's some fucking interesting topic..number of tabs opened..
 
Have 61 tabs open at the moment. And that's the lowest it has been all month.

I start getting worried as I approach 100 tabs, and Firefox is using close to 2Gb of RAM.

I guess I have ADHD.
 
I used to be bad about this but now that I have a apple somehow there so easy to navigate through and open and close that horrible habit has gone away lol.

And for those of you who keep loads of tabs open in FireFox, here are a couple of plugins to help you manage the lot.

FaviconizeTab
Tab Utilities
Memory Restart (this one to keep tabs [gedddit??] on how much RAM your FireFox is chewing)
 
I average around 30-40. Leave it open while I record/edit music or videos. Yay for 8 core 3.8ghz bulldozer processor and 16gb of ram!
 
Don't know about RAM management, but I'm usually always near 60-70% out of 24GB.
 
Sometimes it gets that many that I have to open a new window and start a new set of tabs.
 
Woah..those tabs you open is many...I open tab not more than 5 because if you open many tabs it consumes much of your memory and the tendency is your memory is just 1 gb it will hanged up.
 
I don't just open multiple FF tabs, I also open multiple FF windows and multiple more FF tabs in each of those FF windows....:D


Now let me read where I was (on which window, which tab) before entering this tab....


Sh!t, where is that junk matchbox on which I jotted down the latest index?....lol


That may be going a bit beyond the extreme, but honest, I do open multiple windows, and multiple tabs on each of those FF windows... Someone, please invent an indexing system that can be hidden until I press F11.

I always have 300 tabs open, can't do more Firefox crashes, older versions of Firefox could support up to 600 tabs.
Javascript and flash cause most of my problems with the tabs
 
I always keep them less than 10 tabs at all time, but those are only from 2 domains.
(PS. I don't access BHW from my pc browsers, so it's not a "real-time" counter)
 
I just counted. I have 597 tabs open. Whoops.
