How much should you change a product description when dropshipping?

Hi,

I've read that changing the product description that is supplied from dropshipping websites is a must for SEO but my question is how much should you change them for it to make a difference? I'm currently working through 1,900+ products, on some I'm changing 10 words plus on others probably 3 - 5.

Or pick the biggest brand in your niche market. Look at the products descriptions. This is what your website should look like.

Aliexpress' products descriptions usually don't have one grammatically correct sentence so except for the size, material, weight and colour, I wouldn't keep anything from it.

Consider paying an AI who writes product descriptions (like Rytr)

Thanks for the replies, its a UK site so the spelling etc is good.

I have been using various AI writers but the results aren't making much sense and it seems to take longer to edit it than just edit it in the first place.
