It's about a famous actor. All the fans gained naturally, the page is almost five years old and the 70% of them joined the page this year. Also, all of them are organic real human and very active.
I do a lot of work with facebook and recently I tried to generate some income from a celebrity page with 1million likes. I tried all kinds of things but just couldn't get anything going.
What I learned is that viral content like funny videos etc is MUCH easier to make money from than celeb pages. Maybe people see attempts to sell on a celeb page as a bit of a betrayal of trust.
I'm certainly not saying that your page is worthless, it will definitely be worth money. It's just that from my experience they aren't always worth as much as the owner thinks they are.
There is also a LOT of scamming going on in this industry so people (including me) are very cautious. Unfortunately this risk also decreases the amount someone is willing to pay.
My advice would be to spend some time on researching ways to make income from your site. If you can crack that it will be worth a LOT more money to you over the next few years than you would get for selling.
Well if you can link it with a product to drive affiliate sales then that should definitely increase the value, just try and work out how much you think you can get out of the page in a month without destroying the page, and multiply that by a few months. That is a way that you value a website so should be similar to page.
