How much should I pay for a guy to rewrite an 250 book into a eBook?

He probably shorten it down to 200.

    Thanks

If you are budgeting, then you should see the following first:

Word count per pages (As alex said)
    eBook Pages
Quality (If you want low quality rewrite, then most DP users offer it but if you want high quality, you can always take a look on google to find such)

Some good pay will be $2 per page for a good rewrite for a great WSO. Or else $50 for complete book for a great DP post!

Depends, if you go with a REAL company and are looking for quality and not some DP member
from India or Vietnam, the cost could be 10$ a page. Atleast that's what it was when I was
having a completely unique ebook written. I'm sure if you search around you can find someone
that has experience and maybe only charge $3-$4 per page to rewrite it.

It will depend on the research that needs to be made prior to writing, number of pages (and words per page), if it includes pictures or not, and quality, of course.

I'd say the topic really has an impact on the price
