Hello say I have bought a paid theme, now this theme has everything inside it, now I approach a website developer, and I want few additional plugins, and few things customised using the theme.
So do you believe 50 - 100$ is max what I should be paying.

Basically want him to upload my content, set up about us, contact etc, add few plugins, but since he’s not making theme or anything I don’t think I need to pay him top dollars right?

of course $50 - $100 should do.

but it depends on the web developer.

In my experience, If the theme has all the things and the developer need to do a small amount of work then a few dollars is fine.

First of all, you should not hire a freelancer, it's absolutely not cheap. Hire someone for around the forums for 50$

Yeah you can easily get it for less than $100 if you hire a data-entry/virtual assistant that knows how to install and configure Wordpress.
From your requirements it doesn't sound like you need nor want a web developer.

If you have time and little knowledge I suggest you to try with your self instead of paying for developers . If you still want developers to update the plugins then it would be around 50$ is maximum.

Thank you all everyone really helps a lot.

Really depends on the content provided etc. Someone might do something for $50 while others might not (depending on quality of work).

Many web developers on Upwork will do what you want for that kind of money. So you should be good!

Use the platforms such as freelancer or upwork, there's a bigger chance for you to find developers there for that kind of money.

Why not use HAF on here?

There are plenty of VAs who are Wordpress savvy.

Building a Wordpress website is easy for any "Webdesigner/Webdeveloper", setting Wordpress up in a professional way is totally another game that the regular "Joe The Webdesigner" is not capable of .. It takes years of experience, to set it up the right way, just think of that when you hire someone for $50, the real professionals would laugh at that sum f they are not from Asia somewhere with a totally different economy.
