I recently purchased some backlinks and I'm unsure if it was a good deal. Could the link building experts tell me a decent price I should've paid? They are asking me to renew for the next month.

I'll let u know how much I paid later. Price are without content.

these are pretty good sites, I think a link from such a site will cost anywhere from $100 (if you're lucky) to up to few $1000s.

The exact amount is hard to say because it obviously depends on which type of link you got (guest post, niche edit, homepage link, blog comment, etc)

This being said (and since you've asked) I would say that you've either paid nothing (because you found a loophole), or - if you did indeed purchase them - I would say...

$1000 per link as a PBN (link placed on the homepage)
$250 per link as a guest post
$350 per link as a niche edit
$20 per link as a blog comment

There, I've answered your question! Now you enlighten us by sharing the prices :)

EDIT: oh, I just saw that you didn't purchase them, but instead you RENTED them... Well, this changes things...

In this case, I would say...

$100 per link, per month, as PBN
$50 per link, per month, as niche edit

The other types of links I don't think apply...

So you're paying monthly for the links created on these sites?

These are very familiar sites and I know you can get them for one-time payment too. I don't know about this monthly payment for such guest posts or niche edits

Oh no, I'm not paying monthly. It was one time purchase. Next month they'll provide links from other similar sites.

I'll let u know how much I paid in after a few more estimates. Makes no sense to reveal so early, will defeat the purpose of this post.

I am assuming around 60 USD to 150 USD per link for niche edits and guest posts

No, they are trying to deceive you. Apart from the homepage links, there's no reason to charge a monthly rental. Since your links are similar to guest posts or blog posts, paying a monthly fee is unnecessar-it's a scam.

I don't think it's a scam. The sites have really high authority, so if they're asking for... I don't know... anywhere between $50 to $150... even $200 I think the price is fair. I would jump on board without hesitation if I had the money :)

This being said, I do agree with you that only the PBNs are worth renting, everything else should be one-time fee....

I assume these are PBN links, right? Those are the only links you pay monthly for

Can I ask where you bought these links?

No I'm not paying monthly. If I continue with the plan they'll build new links to new sites next month.

I paid about $100 for each of these links. From this discussion it seems like it was a decent deal.

Then it's fine. My suggestion is to mix in some niche-specific links as well. Don't get too many links from generic niches.

Item 3, 4, 8, 9 ~$25. Item 6 if free I think. Its a blog-platform medium. I have paid for multiple backlinks on those (excluding writing cost). Should be 1 time payment as well. Also, if you have the means, request for the list of links they plan to build and screen them via Semrush/Ahref to get better value for money.

If they're not PBNs and you're paying for the same links monthly, you're getting scammed.
