how much i should charge for editing some short videos with captions and managing the guys account.a video will be uploaded every 2-3 days.

The amount of dollars you need to cover the hours it takes you. It is not that hard to figure out.

usually if the guy provides the clips and you only add caption then most people charge 3-5$ for this work(only for caption and some minor edits)

How many hours of work per day? Do you use your own software, or the client provides it? I found anything above $35/hour a good rate. Now it depends if the collaboration is for short or long term.

Depends on your proficiency in video editing. If you are sure of your work, then you charge like a professional.

how long will each video take? 1 hour 1 day? then figure out what you want to be paid per hour.

You can check on Fiverr, and see how much other sellers charge offering a similar service.

In video editing you should consider the following before fixing the price

2. time required for audio editing, music, sound effects
