(I don't know where to post this so if this isn't the right place please move it and sorry)

Ok so I just got done tweaking a wordpress site and adding some stuff to it.

I showed it to a friend of mine that's in the same type of business I'm in and he asked me how much would I charge to take his new wordpress blog and make it look like mine.

I want to make some cash but I don't want to scare him off with a huge price... i want to make as much money as I can but I really have no idea how much people charge to set up a blog and do a little seo.

Any price ideas ?

Figure out how much you would be OK with making hourly and multiply that by however long you think it will take you to finish his blog. Remember, it will probably take considerably less than it took to make yours since you just did one.

How many hours do you think you could do it in? Multiply that by the hourly rate you want (20 - 80$) and add an extra fee for revisions. I'd charge around 200 dollars personally, that's based on 2 - 3 hours with revisions.

I don't charge more than 60-70$ for a Wordpress blog/site creation.

it depends on the design quality. but for a wp template, i'd pay no more than $100.

Depends if you provide just the template or the full site complete with on-page SEO and everything.

Depends largely where you are based and who the client is.

I know people who don't get out of bed for less than $10k, for others, that is more than they make in an entire year - so it's all relative.
