Just by chance I got a client I wasn't expecting. It is a TV production company from Australia that wants to develop a Youtube channel for real.

I am planning to do some consultancy for them because I don't have time to be part of the project. Consultancy will include YT knowledge, content ideas and some general digital marketing stuff.

This people mean business. Very experienced tv industry people that is clueless about YT.

I plan 1 or 2 hs meetings, about 2 per month. How much should I charge them?
Thanks

Do you actually bring value? Do they know that you bring value?
If I was you I'd try to not be paid like a freelancer (hourly based) but rather a fixed contract where they book a certain amount of hours for each mont (e.g. 10 hours per month for 100$/hour).

Yep, I can really bring some true value to the project in an area that is completely stucked.

We already had a first introductory meeting where we had great chemistry and seems our ideas are aligned.

One thing I'll say is don't ever undersell yourself. If you know you can bring results then charge a decent fee.

Never be too greedy though

50-100 USD / Hour should be a good rate depending upon what level of knowledge you have and does it meet with their expectations.
Thank you! I am about to see more about their expectations on the next meeting when we start to talk about objectives, timeframes, money, etc.

$500-1K/month should be fine. At least that's the least you could charge (Considering you've all skills to assist them with tasks like content creation)

i heard someone asks for 3000$ for a month.
Thanks. I have some YT credentials to show (my own channel) but it isn't something I can brag on. Also, I have my agenda full ... so it is very difficult for me to add more work to my already saturated production schedule.

You can use the high-five method, it grew my channel to 1,000 subscribers overnight.

At least 250$.
Based on this and another research, I think I will go by:
- 200 USD x single random meeting, or
- A package of 12 meetings going hand by hand with the client trough the process of getting the channel to the first milestone (getting monetized). Two meeting per month. 150 USD per meeting. 6 months total.
