As the title says How much search/month and cpc do I need for a keyword for micro-niche? :)

There is no specific numbers, only in general. This greatly depends on the niche, you can't say that 100 search/m key in coocking is the same as 100 search/m key of insurance or real estate. Tell us your general niche and we'll see...

niche.PNGHow are this keywords?

well it highly depends on user intend since it all comes down to conversion rate..

transactional search queries ("money kewords") are most valuable, informational or navigational search queries less.

from my experience, its way better to have a low traffic site with very targeted visitors than a "viral 200k views/month site" with low quality traffic ;)

there is no specific number we can say:)
it is depend on traffic that you have

How are this keywords?

Those keys are not "micro" - if you manage to rank your site high with this keywords - the traffic number will be great! "Micro" assumes that key has 100 to 1000, maybe 3000 searches/m. Now you need to inspect every single keyword from the screenshot and define which has the least competition (it would help you to rank it easier: less competition - less work :))

Can you show an example of micro-niche? a screen shot may be?

1,500 did work for me on a ladies fashio niche. So rule of thumb, I d say 1500 to be worth the efforts

I wouldn't go lower than 5k searches and $1 cpc. And don't forget high Adwords competition.

I normally use 1k+ searches keywords for my micro niche

Keyword research is the most important factor when starting to build website... Every newbie wants to start with keywords with (100.000 searches) but they forget that all the big companies also targeting these keywords (especially in tech/health/nutrition/finance) and they are on the 1st page of google for years and it's almost impossible to outrank them... So, go with long tail keywords (low competition, 1000-3000 searches per month) and write a tech blog, write unique article for every long tail keyword and repeat... That is what you can do if you want to rank in your specific niche....

I can see that there are High, medium and low competition keywords. So are you saying that i have to look for low competition keyword? And how about the medium ones?

You are looking at Adwords competition. If a keywords has low or medium Adwords competition that means there are very few or no bidders for that keyword, so I suggest you look only for high competition keywords.

Go it! Then What is the way of finding the competition from others for that keyword?

Go to Google. Enter your keyword. The competition will be there in front of you on the first two pages. Weigh up if you can honestly compete with a limited budget. If not move on to other keywords.

What if the competitions are big sites like amazon, ebay, techradar etc?

I would'nt touch them.

If the first page of any keyword search is big sites with big budgets and big staff then you are not going to touch them unless you have a lot of money to spend.

As suggested above look for longtail keywords that you think you can rank for. You might not rank for "Garden Sheds" but you might rank for "Plastic tool shed" or something more microniche like "Green Plastic Tool Shed"
