Its really easy to make $200 a month.
1st you have to not stuff to many Ebay ads in your bans Site. Remember too many is not good and looks unprofessional, its all about getting the cookie on their CPU. Most of the time anyway once they click on Ebay ad and goes to Ebay they stay on Ebay, so it really doesnt matter how many ads you have its all about as long as they click.. I try to keep my site very narrowed down to a specific product. I also ad content to it once a week.

I started a few bans sites in january 08, have made about 300.00 so far with minimal and some organic traffic. but i decided to amp it up a little with a few more ads to see what would happen and 1day, 10 ads, 228.00. not much i know but i could probably get 3 to 5 times that if i do my ads every other day. I know a pretty reputable guy who was struggling a little with free methods and bum marketing and decided to get bans. He put up 10 sites and started following a marketing plan from somone at the bans forum, to make a long story short, 6weeks, made a little over $10,000.00
This guy was so amazed, he was afraid to really let it all out till he deposited his cj check, which now he knows his way around the block as far as making sure he doesn't compromise his cj and ebay affiliation with some old school and simple black hat tactics. Since then I know he was on his way to building 40 or more sites. I know it can work, I've had about 50 sales, just wish those were info products with a 50 dollar commission. Anyways, It can and will work and is a pretty nice addition to the mix of things, but this guy was bans all the way, which im going to be putting in more effort on mine for sure but probably using more natural ways to stick around a little longer in the search engines. Posting ads everyday per however many sites can get a little wearing.

What do you mean by ads--online classified ads? Is that how you get your traffic?
Yeah, craigslist has been really the only source so far, I have also tried backpage and had pretty quick rankings in the search engines.Heres a cool tip too, look on google trends and type in your base keyword, it will show you the city and state with the most searches for your niche. If you post your ads as if you were selling a regular everyday item, then use a redirect at the end of your ad. The trick I've learned is not to use your main site in the ad but use a couple of throw away domains and redirect them to your main site so as to not risk your cj account. Also, dont post with full url, this will get you flagged pretty quick by the bots if you advertise in the for sale section, leave out the http://www. and say for more info or pictures look here -- redirect.com Also, dont post the same item over different cities, post a different item of same nature over multiples cities. Say your niche is laptops, well post a different kind of laptop in each title of ad. Your main goal is to get people there anyways to set the cookie, and they might see something else there that catches their eye, plus adsense ads a little extra. This was just one niche. Try that over ten niches, thats my next goal. Plus, trying some affiliate offers in the services with longtails.
