How much money did you make in 2016?

To be honest, I made loss this 2016 from my online business ventures, sadly!
I think the country one lives play a key role in determining how much one can earn because if you live in developing countries‎ in Africa like me, where most viable online business ventures and tools are banned as a result of few bad eggs who are busy tarnishing the image of the majority, then you will make less than $1 unless luck smiles on you.
I had over 20 domain names that expired this year and I couldn't renew them, couldn't sell them either.
I have 2 micro niche websites (wordpress), but they haven't earned more than $10 in 2016 and I have done enough to optimize it and make things work.
Please can anyone assist me in optimizing my two Micro niche sites and help tell me what to do and how to do it to position me for a better earning next year? Any help will be appreciated.
I feel so bad reading how much people made and I didn't even make enough to cover my internet expenses, too bad, please help me for a better 2017 please! *sobs*‎

I'm doing IM for fun and I haven't worked much on my projects this year so only 1-2k from various sources, mainly AdSense & CPA.
Got some plans for coming february though :)

Lost a couple hundred in IM from testing and trying out different products and services. I hope to use what I learned in 2016 to profit in 2017.

Honestly dude I don't even know how I have internet right now.

Made around $118k from automotive jobs and around $40k from seo services

well I got to pay shitloads in tax at least! Go Sweden...

Every year my online income has gone down but 2017 im gonna kill it and thats a fact!

This is net profit, after Paypal fees and business expenses and hosing and domains and everything business related.

$1300 in 2013
$3600 in 2014
$4400 in 2015
$8000 in 2016

Hoping for $15,000+ in 2017.

And with that money I've been paying rent and bills and food and dentist and all living expenses, and living a fairly empty life. Also saved up like $5000.

I work full time at it. And I will continue until there are more zeroes attached to those numbers there. :)
