So I have this software.

It loads up to a website.

It gets downloaded a few hundred times a day.

But all my users are cumulative. The person who opens my software today, will say the same page he did yesterday. The software's grown to at least have 100k downloads. Out of which, I'd expect half of those users to be regularly using the software.

That's about 50k cumulative monthly users.

Can I make money from cost per impression? I can put some ads on my software?

Use cloaking tools for CPA signups. That converts well.

I'm not going into surveys and things like that. Simple ads with CPI (per 1000 views) could possibly pay well?

yes, you can earn money following both ways.

you should be able to make some $ , it all depends on how many monthly imps and the level of engagement, for example - one way to tackle it is to create some basic relevant video and monetize it with video ads- might take some setting up but might worth it if you keep on scaling.

If the majority of your users are from tier 1 countries, then PPV earning might be worth it. You can also try affiliate/CPA ads.
