I dont understand your idea clearly, you charge 10$ every members to get a chance to win 5k? They will buy lottery instead.

Hi Zso,

A lot of people earn money from surveys, but most of all survey site owners do earn. You put surveyors to survey squeeze pages. Is it clear until now?
You don't have to charge any for the membership. You just let for free anyone enroll for doing surveys.
Then you will get your money in several ways:
1. You sell traffic to the owners of the sites your members do survey.
2. You get affiliate commission from surveyed sites.
3. At the last "bonus" survey you show your own review site with your affiliate links to many money making sites. That's also making affiliate commissions for you.
Members are surveying and gathering their dollars on their membership account. There is a cash-out limit (e.g. $75 or $100 as a minimum to be paid out). However on these kind of sites there are not enough surveys for a member to reach that minimum cash-out limit from just doing survey.
Then members have the second chance of making money: earning affiliate commission (e.g. $1 per person) for each referred person who enrolls.
Just do your maths for traffic forecast, ROI, and pricing to keep a good cash flow and finally make some profit.
Beware: read FTC rules and check your local regulations, if it is permitted or not to pay commission for recruited persons, without actual sale of goods or services! Otherwise you may find yourself comitting the fraud of making a Ponzi scheme! Check thoroughly the Terms of Service other survey sites do use, and consult with a lawyer to be sure you will not go into trouble later.

Anyway, most of survey sites I've checked out operated in a deceptive manner.
Did you ever heard someone jumping on one leg and shouting: "Wow! I've got a great money just from filling Internet surveys"? I'm sure you will find most of survey-filling members recommending doing survey to their friends only to recover their wasted time and hoping to reach the cash-out limit.
You may make me wrong, if you want to, but I shared my own experience here.

Now just think about, there are many non-deceptive ways fo Internet business, where you will have really happy and satisfied customers. In such win-win situations you will have really good referrals to keep the number of your members / customers growing.

Personally I don't recommend making a yet another survey site, unless you do it really smart, in an innovative way and preventing customer deception.


But, if you like surveys, then...
Just go, enroll to a dozen of survey sites, "take the boots" of the customers, get your experience, and steal the knowledge. If you can be a happy customer of any survey site, then you may be able to make your successful site, too.

So are you suggesting that if he puts together a members survey where they get access to a database full of companies that state they do surveys it's a deceptive practice? nicho

That's not deceptive. Period.

And if the use is for creating an opt-in list for work-at-home, that's fine, have all my blessings for it.


Deceptive is the practice when members can't reach the minimum amount to be paid out. I found that on a couple of free survey sites; promising you can earn cash, and you can reach $20-$30 only, while the minimum amount to be actually paid is $75 or $100, which is unlikely to ever reach ("sorry, there are mo more available surveys, but we try to get more... bla.. bla..."). That is deceptive.


I don't say that's not effective for making money on autopilot - I just say it's smarter to deliver for the received money something that keeps customers craving for the next opportunity to buy something good from your site.


As I have over two decades experience in selling, I can keep up my recommendation, test your product buy trying to be a buyer of it. Yes, get the experience of being your own product's customer, get the feelings and improve your products accordingly. And before launching a new product, get some friends to test it first, and use their comments to adjust the product for better results.

get pay to take surveys are scams. Scams scams scams.

Don't think ruck would agree with xxxxx he runs a good survey site and as regards deceptive pracitse which l am glad you clarified for me then nearly everyone on the internet who uses hype is surely using deceptive copy as most of the people who purchase never have a cat in hells chance of pulling it off and earning the hype in the copy..but thats what the disclaimer is for.

I had the same conversation when australia with frank kerns a couple of years ago and he was so fed up it cost him a fortune for suggesting peoplecould earn good money. nicho

People can get some benefits from doing surveys, but usually nothing worth their time.

The real money is in promoting those programs. If there's a sucker born every minute I want a list of everybody turning 18 in the next few hours to hit them up with my aff link for Ruck's survey site.
