How much longer do I have to wait to post links??

I've been a member here for a while now and I still can't post links! I want to share a txt file with everyone and I can't cause I'm not allowed to post links. How long do I have to wait??

May be till you reach 50 odd posts.. But why are so desperate to post the link??

lol I'm not desperate just annoyed. Been trying to post stuff on the forum for months now to give a little back to the community. That's all.

It's nothing like that at all. I scraped some twitter followers and want to share it with people in social networking sites section. It's not even that important but I found it useful and thought someone else on the forum might too.

Uhmm not all of us here on the forum talk much like some and my policy is not to spam threads with useless "thank you" or "great post" etc. If I have something to say that will contribute to the thread, that hasn't been said already, I'll say it. If not, I'll keep quiet.

If I had known there's a required number of threads, I wouldn't have started this thread in the first place. What I was getting when I tried posting was

I'm sure he/she contributes a lot to the forum as do many others.
 
Why don't you try contacting blackhat world or a administrator or moderator of the forum. They would probably be able to help the most if you tried everything above

I wasn't aware of the 50 posts rule so I'll just wait till I hit that number. If nothing changes by then, I'll contact them for sure.

No . . . he can't do that. It just pisses the staff off
when members try to work around that limitation,
and we delete posts when we see that they are
attempting to bypass the system. Also, if we see
that someone is continually doing it, we may be
inclined to issue an infraction or even a temp ban.

The best (and safest) solution is to participate
more in sections where your post is counted.
Eventually, you will acquire enough posts to
be allowed to post links.
