I posted this also in JR.vip but there's not so much traffic there, and i also want to know the opinion of regular users.
I was exploring the idea of the black swan theory - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_swan_theory and i've come up with an algorithm for it. Works for me so far.
The idea is to raise flags whenever a website is gaining considerable traffic.
My system analyzes the growth trajectory of top 2mln websites on the Internet and represents it as a percentage growth in a period of time.
It will allow you to see the Top 1000 growths and falls for the following periods of time:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 14 days, 1, 2, 3, 6, 12 months and all-time. ATM I just have 3 months of data collected.
You will be able to filter the data for high, medium, low, and upstart traffic categories (1-1,000, 1,000-10,000, 10,000-100,000, 100,000-1,000,000 Alexa rank)
The data is 100% accurate.
1. Do you know any place on the internet where you can gain access to data like this?
2. I'm thinking of starting a web service with premium access. Would this data have any value for you? If any, how much would you pay/month?
PS. Usage of the data i'm generating: copying websites, ideas, money making methods, niches, moving ideas to other than english-speaking countries.
