    Lets say someone owned that domain, how much do you think its worth?

    I don't want to be insensitive here but seeing that this probably wont be the last earthquake in japan, it might be worth holding onto!

    Not that much, you could perhaps monetize it with adsense or dontations for red cross but honestly it is short term project not get rich from domain name.

    If only i own that domain, perhaps i would sell it off or donate to the Japanese NGOs.
    It may not be much in value but maybe the Japan NGOs can put up a website with that domain.
    A site that would remind them about the past history and memory on how they work together to rebuild back the nation.

    Not an easy way to monetize ethically...I wouldn't buy it for more than $10.
